Today's Christian clip art: The Healing of a Blind Man at Bethsaida
They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man's eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, "Do you see anything?"
He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around."
Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

Today's Christian clip art: Jesus healed a deaf and mute man
After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man's ears. Then he spit and touched the man's tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, "Ephphatha!" (which means, "Be opened!" ). At this, the man's ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.

Today's Christian clip art: Jesus carried the cross
Matthew 27:30-33, Mark 15:19-22, Luke 23:26, John 19:17.
They spit on him, and struck him on the head again and again. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him. As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross. They came to a place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull).
In John 19:17, it says, "Carrying his own cross,". It seems Jesus could not keep carrying it because he already suffered a lot by the soldiers.

"You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." "What is truth?" Pilate asked. With this he went out again to the Jews and said, "I find no basis for a charge against him." But Jews shouted to crucify Jesus, and Pilate was afraid of them. Pilate released a criminal called Barabbas whom Jews wanted instead of Jesus.

But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." Then Caiaphas said excitedly, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses?" They answered, "He is worthy of death!"

Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: "Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." And he went outside and wept bitterly.
Peter was very confident that he would never disown his Lord, but he did it three times in hours. Weak mind like myself surely need help from holy spirits to keep the faith at a difficult time.

Stay here and keep watch with me." Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
As in Luke 22:44, 'his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.' His prayer before his death was in such an anguish.

As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to Judas, "What you are about to do, do quickly.". As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.

At the last supper of the Passover, Jesus told disciples "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God." Jesus took the bread, gave thanks and broke it and gave it to them, saying "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, he took the cup, saying, "this cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."
This is the 100th of the drawing for ChristianCliparts.net. I thank my Lord for letting me do this work.

Today's Christian clip art: The greatest commandment
Matthew 22:34-40, Mark 12:28-31.
An expert in the law, tested Jesus asking what is the greatest commandment in the Law. Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Jesus quoted these from Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18.
