Word of God: Immanuel

Isaiah's prophecy, Immanuel, which means “God is with us” in Hebrew. The Messiah was born from a virgin as prophesied.

In OT, there are many prophesies of the messiah. He has to be a descendant of David. He has to be born in Bethlehem, and he has to rise from the dead etc....
Only Jesus fulfils all the conditions. Jesus is indeed the God with us. Merry Christmas!!

The Bible Project Japanese has been launched!!

At last, It has been launched!! The first video of The Bible Project in Japanese!!

I have been a big fan of The Bible Project, and now I am part of it. Such a wonderful privilege to spread the Gospel to Japan this way. I am in charge of animation in localization.

I thought it was about time for me to retire from this kind of production, but God has kindly taken me back to the front line.

Many many more videos are following, I am extremely excited about this job and praise the Lord!!

Bible clearly says, we all sinned against God.

We don't deserve to be with God. We are all sinners and destined to be condemned.

We are so hopeless without Christ. Christ is the only hope, and the only way to be saved from God's wrath.

Word of God: No other name is given

Many of Hebrew names in the Bible have their meanings, like Moses (משה) means 'draw out' because Pharaoh's daughter drew him out of the water.

Jesus (ישוע) means 'Salvation'. I thought that the name Jesus doesn't appear in OT, but in Hebrew, I can find his name in many places even in OT, like Exodus 15:2. Though it doesn't mean Jesus himself there, I think it is kind of fascinating just finding his name in OT.
