Today's Christian Clipart: Gideon overhears Midianite's dream

Judges 7:11-14

And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.

And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.

And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host

Today's Christian Clipart: The Lord making Gideon's army small

Judges 7:5-7

So he brought down the people unto the water: and the Lord said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.

And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.

And the Lord said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.

New feature! Bible picture e-book series!!

Bible picture ebook series

Please check out our new collaboration project! Bible picture ebook series.

This project is our new trial approach for the Gospel. By distributing this on Youtube as a series, we believe that would be a useful tool for children ministry leaders and Sunday school teachers all over the world.

This is also the first collaboration project at Christiancliparts.net. With the blessing of the Lord, very gifted talents are participating. The script is written by Becky Spence of This Reading Mama and narrated by Tom Whiteman of Gospel Music Roundup.

The first episode is about one of Jesus' parable, 'The good Samaritan'.
It's a concise short movie (2min 13sec) with HD resolution. I hope you would enjoy with HD and full screen mode for its best performance.

There are so much to improve, like localization to other languages. More variations in illustration styles and so on. But at least we have one big step forward today.
Hallelujah!!
Hoping this would praise and glorify my Lord, Jesus Christ!

The project need to find its sponsorship. Please spread this, and if any of the viewer know  possibilities, please let me know, that would be very appreciated.

Today's Christian Clipart: The sign of Gideon's fleece

Judges 6:36-38

And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said,

Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.

And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.

Today's Christian Clipart: Gideon and the angel

Judges 6:11-13

And there came an angel of the Lord, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

Today's Christian Clipart: Israelites hiding in caves

Judges 6:1-3

And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.

And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.

And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

Phonic lessons with Christian clip arts

A popular Christian homeschooling blog site "This Reading Mama", also one of the supporter for Christiancliparts.net, is making phonic lesson books for homeschooking using our cliparts! I am sure these materials are big help for other homeschoolers in Christian families too. The books are available for download.
I am very thankful for Becky, the publisher, giving me this opportunity to serve my Lord this way. :)

Today's Christian Clipart: The covenant renewed at Mount Ebal

Joshua 8:30-33

Then Joshua built on Mount Ebal an altar to the Lord, the God of Israel, as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the Israelites. He built it according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses—an altar of uncut stones, on which no iron tool had been used. On it they offered to the Lord burnt offerings and sacrificed fellowship offerings.
There, in the presence of the Israelites, Joshua wrote on stones a copy of the law of Moses.
All the Israelites, with their elders, officials and judges, were standing on both sides of the ark of the covenant of the Lord, facing the Levitical priests who carried it. Both the foreigners living among them and the native-born were there. Half of the people stood in front of Mount Gerizim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of the Lord had formerly commanded when he gave instructions to bless the people of Israel.
